The Long-Term Care Plan That Never Wastes a Dollar
Most people think Medicare will cover long-term care if they ever need it. It won't. And with nursing home and in-home care routinely running well into the thousands per month, a single care event can drain a lifetime of savings in a few years — leaving the healthy spouse to cover the bills, the mortgage, and their own future on whatever is left. This isn't a rare, unlucky outcome. It's one of the most common — and most overlooked — risks in retirement.
And now, this can be handled by creating an ASSET, not by simply taking on a large monthly payment in retirement.

Traditional long-term care insurance tried to solve this, but it came with a catch: if you paid premiums for twenty years and never needed care, that money was simply gone. We can do the traditional route for LTC coverage, but we specialize in a different approach — hybrid, asset-based long-term care coverage. These are life insurance policies with a long-term care benefit built in. If you never need care, your family still receives a death benefit. If you do need care, that benefit is available to help pay for it, usually doubling what's available. Either way, the money isn't wasted, and your family isn't left exposed.
This is especially important for couples who've built real savings and don't want a health event late in life to undo decades of careful planning. Jim or one of our team will walk you through exactly how a hybrid policy works for your situation, side by side with what you may currently have in place, so you can see the difference clearly before you decide anything.
